Ofwat National Customer Council (ONCC)
WATER CUSTOMERS' WATCHDOG CONSULTS ON ITS FORWARD
PLAN 2001-02

The national and regional customer watchdogs today invited views on their proposed work programme for continuing to represent customers' interests in the year ahead.

The Draft Forward Plan 2001-02 of the Ofwat National Customer Council (ONCC) and the ten regional Customer Service Committees (CSCs), published today, sets out in detail what they aim to achieve in representing customers' interests at local, national and European level.

ONCC Chairman Sheila Reiter said:

"We welcome views on the priorities and activities that we have identified for the year ahead. Many will be familiar but some are new. We would be particularly interested to know whether there are any additional issues of relevance to water and sewerage customers which may require our attention in 2001-02."

The draft Forward Plan consultation period will end on 6 March 2001.
