ITT Flygt in China has landed its largest and one of its most important orders to date.

ITT Flygt in China has landed its largest and one of its most important orders to date, for equipment for a sewage treatment plant in the city of Zheng Zhou in the province of Henan, about 600 kilometres south-west of Beijing by the Yellow River.

The complete package includes, 13 sewage pumps, 16 propeller pumps and 76 mixers supplied from Sweden, and control panels and installation accessories for all the pumps and mixers, supplied from China.

The Zheng Zhou sewage treatment plant has a capacity of 400,000 cubic metres per day and is the first municipal sewage treatment plant in the city, of over two million inhabitants.

The project is an important reference for Flygt in China, as the Chinese government continues to invest in sewage treatment and similar projects will undoubtedly be undertaken in the future.
